Prejudice Vanished?!?

Some people shook their pretty head, some hold their hand in front of their mouth, yes, even in front of their eyes. Me, myself, sat silly with my mouth open, but full of anticipation.. ... then I spontaneously burst into tears.

Like a silent rain in Springtime, I cried. I cried for all of us, I cried for the human kind ... and all of this, because of this Talent Woman, and what took place in the waves around her performance, and long, long time after that! Hopefully, will this waves never end as they take their journey around our planet!

Please, follow the link Talent Woman for the full story line.
Me, myself stumble upon this experience on the blog "Live Passionately".

I watched Susan on your blog, It brought a tear to my eye, as it brought many tears, when I watched Susan Boyle on the Saturday Show.
Susan, was the biggest shock this Country, nay, The world has had for many a year.
Susan will be made for life with that performance.
God Bless her.
Also God Bless Anna-lys for this reminder.

I cried too.. although thats not a stretch for me these days lmao

I love her story, but in truth it makes me sad that no one saw her for what she was before this show...

I wish her the best and a wonderful first kiss!

yes, i saw this performance on another blog a few days ago. her performance was truly remarkable and touching. but what got me was the initial scorn of the audience. a relatively youngish audience judging her based on her age and looks...
and actually i thought her looks and age were just fine.

Imac Thank You, I think this is very important minutes to reflect upon how we humans act in every-day life, and how people next door can remain unseen until they die. Because we are programmed through media to look after certain looks and behaviours, the rest doesn't even exist. Important lessons learned by this talent, but most of all by watching the affective interplay that takes place amongst the audience and the judges.

Helene aka K8Exactly, that is my point here!
How many of those unseen people do we have around us? Not, seen, yet!
Go out and see the flowers around You! Specially, those we are laughing at behind their backs.
I hope she gets lots of hugs and kisses, and all those others out there in the same grey non-existence. She would have had the greatest carrier as an emphatic blogger ;-)

Foam I hope lost of bloggers hi-lightens this event, because it is a real cool wake-up call. Instead, of all this media attention on plastic surgery and cosmetics, the fake world! This kind of beauty is like thunder and lightning, and it comes from within, that goes for all those in that room, we could actually see the human race enlightened through this performance!

The talent from my point of view is that she woke up humanity within us in a split-of-a-second!

It's a great story, may her first kiss just as wonderful for her as her singing.

Anna-Lys, So *FABULOUS* to meet you! Thank you for for visiting and linking my blog. You bring me unexpected moments of Happiness. Gratitude preserves old friendships, and procures new.
“We cannot tell the exact moment a friendship is formed; as in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop which makes it run over; so in a series of kindnesses, there is at last one that makes the heart run over.”

Thank you for your drops of kindness!

Cheers & Hugs!
Christine :)

Good evening Anna-lys
I watched her and she was amazing!

But what really bugged me was everyones reaction when she first walked on stage, when they laughed, which in my opinion was cruel! I have no doubt that if she had been a young mini skirted women, she would have got a completely different reaction when she first walked on stage...but now she will be the one laughing....all the way to the bank, which is brilliant and she so deserves to go all the way to the top {:)

Hope you have had a good weekend
(((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

Stacey Good Morning! I share Your thoughts and concern upon people attitudes, that is why this post was published! We humans needs more of her kind that can teach us and put a nail in our eyes, so we wake up of our views upon people.

Susan is already on the top, as a humanistic missionary!

ANNA-LYS said...

Little Lamb Thank You, I was afraid You have turned into an Easter steak with rosemary and garlic.

Laughingwolf Indeed, she has!

Phos, Yepp, she got a voice, that comes from the heart, one becomes touched, even of that!

I watched the video some days ago and was in the beginning waiting for the fake and believed she was miming. She was great.
Same occurred some years ago when a young man surprised the world with his performance in the opera singing. Forgotten his name.
I am fine, trouble with my eye, but
det er godt å leve

Anna: Beautiful written and a neat water capture.

ANNA-LYS said...

Arne, she sure was, but, what happened with Your eye?
Ja, det är gött å leve :-D

Gunnar, I saw it also yesterday (a day after my blog).

ANNA-LYS said...

Arne Thanks for the link, but he didn't have the audience against him, they where with him, long before he started to sing. This to performances can't be compared from my point of view in my post. Still, he is a great little singer!

Fishing Guy, thank You very much, indeed. And good luck with Your fishing!

Hi Anna-Lys,

thanks for bringing this, because otherwise I never would have seen it.
It was a truely remarkable video, so touching and it also made me cry and mind you I'm the type that doesn't crack up or cry easily! But this was just so touching! what i loved, was the honesty and how she got through to people on a wavelenth of aesthetics. Really beautiful and so encouraging!

By the way, have been to Halmstad a couple of times...

Judging by all the comments and the entries on your blog, this might be something, that could have your interest:

Vidoeklippet är inte längre tillgängligt. Vilken slutsats drar du av det?

ANNA-LYS said...

Jo när man blivit en erkänd talang, så blir man kontrakterad och då vill kontraktören ha pengar på allt som visas även det som gått på TV

Inte visste jag att upphovsrätten var retroaktiv??? Idiotiskt!
