Eye of The Beholder

Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offence
You silence for your confidence

Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep you where they must

Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?

Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward seems to me absurd

Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me

Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both the plus and negative

Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside, to each his own

Do you trust what I trust?
Me, myself and I
Penetrate the smoke screen, I see through the selfish lie

Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception

Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
You silence just to hear yourself

Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence, lengthen freedom's ring

Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Independence limited
Freedom of choice is made for you my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom no longer frees you

Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say

Some cynical stuff; but tells it like it is.
Some nice rhyming there.

Getting cold for winter yet, where you are?

Ja du vem vet... åtminstone inte utan att fråga... och kanske inte ens då...

and that is the catch isn't it?

Yes, I guess so :-(
Not winter cold, yet.
Maybe, because I live
by the west-coast
near Gothenburg (20 min)

Den "Fria Viljan" är nog att betrakta som en utopi, det är alltid någon "röst" som styr, den må komma uppifrån eller kulturellt inlärd innifrån oss själva (överjaget - Id).

Does really "subjectivity", "personal opinion" and "Free Will" exist?

Lovely post dear Anna-Lys, we perceive the world how we wish to see it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
The painting is lovely, especially the sky, it could be a golden mountain range or the profile of a figure reclining, showing the head, neck and shoulders, it can be both.
xoxoxo ♡

These kinds of images are just plain cool. They fire my imagination. AS they do yours it would appear.

fleeing from a romance gone bad?

Thank You for the feed-back on the amalgamation :-)
Nice of You to share Your thoughts and interpretations. Next time we look at the hole picture (music+lyrics+art) we will probably discover a new dimension from an other situated perspective. I think we project our present "waves and particles" on the perceived world.

That was an interesting question, my friend he he he :-)
Nope, I do everything I can to avoid romances because I just don't got the time - wrong - I don't prioritise it in my life right now. Romances are very time-consuming - hmmm - so is research - OK - guess I am in love and have a romance - with Mr Thesis lol.
For now blogging is just enough ;-)

it's always interesting to me that two people can witness the same event and yet their interpretations and memories of the events can be so different.
"do you see what i see?"

Whenever I see the phrase "Eye of the Beholder", I am always reminded of the multi-eyed floating monster from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. Only the true nerd (like myself) researched the game enough to know that the dreaded monster came in three varieties: Beholder, Beholder Magi, and Orbus. Very exciting.

I like the song too :)

I think I just saw the eye of the beholder peeping through my window, however it could have been someone else.

The image is fascinating, as is the cadence and rhythm of your words.

Den här Bellanåt existerar inte. Hon är bara en påhittad Pellejöns. Och jag själv är faktiskt ett annant av blogginnehavarens hjärnspöken. I don't exist.
