Blowin in The Wind?

How many blogs must a blogger walk down
Before you call him a blogger?

I have been searching for information about blogs, their existence, and how many we are today. Almost a mission impossible! I found that there are about 184 million started blogs, at another place I found 77 million, but nowhere I can find what they define as a blog. Maybe, that is the problem, that You can't count what is not categorized properly.

Is twitter, glitter and critter defined as blogging?
Is my blog, a blog per se, because I publish on blogspot?
Is it important at all what I am doing, as long as I do what i like to do? ;-)

The industry find the Blogosphere most interesting, they have conferences and expos for example Blog World Expo. I went also to Google Schoolar (only peer reviewed articles) to find out what the researchers think about the blogging phenomena.

Then I became very sleepy.

Good N8 ;-)

Hej!

Good night! Just a few minutes ago I found your calling card in an old purse(I thought I threw it away years ago). It says:
"Anna Lys
Blogger"
There are also some telephone numbers, that I won't publish. And there is a nice drawing, made by a child - maybe your grandchild?
Not everyone writing is an author, not every painter is an artist, not everyone speaking in the phöne is an operator, so I guess not everyone blogging is a blogger. But you are. I see that from what you accomplish. And from your calling card.

Good Morrrrrrn', hope You enjoyed the music and the lyrics ;-)

To me a blog is much more than I myself makes of it. To me a blogpost must leave space for the readers to participate. I think that is the pedagogical "trick". Everything else is just fact articles. I know that this definition is absolutely not common (sense).

You and Your comments are the most important ingredients in my blog content

I don't think blogging is just a blowing in the wind. I think we have an impact, at least on peoples reflection, and passion, but most of all connectivity. ;-)

my sweet girl, it is true.. it is whatever you like it to be. yeah..we may risk being misunderstood at times..but for those who get us, i guess, there's an immediate bond and connection that i find very exciting.

I would like to go to the blogger world expo! lol

I bet they consider any social network page a 'blog'. I wonder how we will get rid of all the cyber junk... dead sites etc. I think that will be a problem in the future. As if garbage on earth and in space isnt enough, now we have to worry about cyber garbage too! lol

I can't figure out "Twitter" - I got an account there and decided it is pretty much useless, a cross-breed between instant messaging and Facebook (an other questionable platform). Both Twitter and Facebook promote simplification in communication (dummification in language skills... and so on).
I am going to sign off from Twitter and just focus on My own Blog, and that is enough for me to handle in these challenging times.

This link is a dead end. Sorry!

...and "How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a"... walker? It is not about how to stroll around. There are some rules and regulations we must follow. Some just write about anything that comes to their mind. They are like dalites. The real blogger is a person of high moral and discipline.

I'm the sort of guy who loves to taste innovative things. Presently I am building my private pv panels. I'm making it all alone without the aid of my men. I'm using the internet as the only way to acheive that. I saw a very awesome website that explains how to contruct photovoltaic panels and so on. The site explains all the steps needed for pv panel contruction.

I'm not exactly sure bout how correct the info given there is. If some guys over here who have experience with these things can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it will be awesome and I would extremely appreciate it, cause I really lav solar panel construction.

Thanks for reading this. You guys are the best.
